Reporting to the District Manager, the role has the responsibility to:

• Achieve sales target, sales growth and market share objectives for designed products in territory through optimal sales activity

• Carry out efficient planning for sales activity in my territory, including achieving stipulated call and clinical meeting targets with appropriate documentation

• Effectively plan the use of resources to maximize return on investment

• Persuade and influence customers to preferentially select GSK products and services

• Ensure the daily entry of all information and updated customer information into provided templates for such purposes

• Carry out all activities in accordance with GSK commercial ethics code and appropriate SOPs

• Develop annual territory business plan consistent with district business plan

• Ensure timely monthly and weekly reporting of call, clinical meeting, products performances, market intelligence on customer and competitor activity in the territory

• Ensure timely completion of key administrative tasks (e.g expenses)


The ideal candidate must not be more than 28 years old. He/she must hold a very good degree in Pharmacy from a reputable university and must have a good knowledge of pharmacology, therapeutics and patho-physiology of disease. No post-NYSC experience is required. The company will provide comprehensive training for successful candidates.
