Applications are invited for the underlisted positions at the Neuropsychiatric Hospital, Aro, Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria.
1.) Consultant Psychiatrist (CONMESS 15)
Required Qualification
Candidate must be a Medical Doctor and must have passed the Part II Final Fellowship Examination in Psychiatry of the National Post Graduate Medical College of Nigeria or the West African College of Physicians.
Evidence of current license/registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria.
2.) Senior Medical Officer Grade II (NHIS Clinic) (CONMESS 11)
Required Qualification
Candidate must possess MBBS Degree in Medicine plus at least five (5) years post registration cognate experience.
Candidate must have cognate experience in Obstetrics/gynecology and general surgery.
Candidate must have relevant competence and ability to handle minor surgical emergencies where applicable.
Candidate must possess current practicing licence.
Candidate must register with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria.
3.) Resident Doctor in Psychiatry (CONME88 10)
Required Qualification
Candidate must possess MBBS Degree in Medicine.
Possession of Certificate in Primary Examination in Psychiatry from the National Post-Graduate Medical College of Nigeria or the West African College of Physicians.
Candidate must be registered with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria.
Candidate must possess current practicing licence.
4.) Medical Officer (NHIS Clinic) (CONMESS 10)
Required Qualification
Candidate must possess a Degree in MBBS from a recognized University.
Candidate must be registered with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) and must possess at least one (1) year post registration cognate experience with current practicing license.
5.) Pharmacist (CONHESS 09)
Required Qualification
Candidate must possess a Bachelor of Pharmacy Degree registrable with the Pharmacist Registration Board of Nigeria (PRBN).
Candidate must have at least one (1) year post-registration cognate experience.
6.) Senior Accountant (CONHESS 09)
Required Qualification
Candidate must possess a Degree in Accountancy from a recognized University or Higher National Diploma.
Candidate must possess a professional qualification from the institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) or Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN) with three (3) years’ post qualification cognate experience.
7.) Laboratory Scientist (Haematology and Blood Group Serology) Grade I (CONHESS 08)
Required Qualification
Candidate must possess a Certificate of the Associate of the Institute of Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (AMLSCN) with option in Haematology and Blood Group Serology.
Candidate must possess current practicing license.
Candidate must possess at least five (5) years cognate experience.
8.) Senior Technical Officer (Civil Engineering) (CONHESS 08)
Required Qualification
Candidate must possess Higher National Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized Institution plus at least three (3) years post qualification cognate experience.
9.) Speech Therapist (CONHESS 07)
Required Qualification
Candidate must possess a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts in Special Education (Speech Therapy) from a recognized institution.
Candidate must possess current registration with relevant Professional Body.
Candidate must have at least one (1) year post NYSC cognate experience.
10.) Administrative Officer Grade II (CONHESS 07)
Required Qualification
Candidate must possess a Degree in any of the Social Sciences or Humanities.
Candidate must be computer literate.
11.) Higher Executive Officer (Admin.) (CONHESS 07)
Required Qualification
Candidate must possess Higher National Diploma in Business Studies/Administration or Public Administration.
Candidate must have at least three (3) years post qualification cognate experience.
12.) Higher Executive Officer (Accounts) (CONHESS 07)
Required Qualification
Candidate must possess Higher National Diploma in Accountancy.
Candidate must have at least five (5) years post qualification cognate experience.
13.) Occupational Therapist (CONHESS 07)
Required Qualification
Candidate must possess a Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution.
Candidate must be a recognized member with the Occupational Therapist Board of Nigeria in the appropriate cadre.
14.) Environmental Health Officer Grade (CONHESS 07)
Required Qualification
Candidate must possess a Degree in Environmental Hearth Science from a recognized University.
15.) Psychiatric Nurse (CONHESS 07)
Required Qualification
Candidate must possess Registered Nurse (RN) Certificate of Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (N & MCN).
Candidate must possess Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN) certificate.
Candidate must possess current licence to practice from Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.
16.) Paediatric Nurse (CONHESS 07)
Required Qualification
Candidate must possess Registered Nurse (RN) Certificate of Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (N&MCN)
Candidate must possess Registered Paediatric Nurse Certificate.
Candidate must possess current licence to practice from Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.
Candidate must have at least two (2) years post qualification experience.
17.) Theatre Nurse (CONHESS 07)
Required Qualification
Candidate must possess Registered Nurse (RN) Certificate of Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (N & MCN).
Candidate must possess Certificate in Theatre Nursing with at least one (1) year working experience as a Theatre Nurse.
18.) E. E. G. Technologist (CONHESS 07)
Required Qualification
Candidate must have a full Technology Certificate in Electro-Encephalography and Clinical Neuro-physiology Education or a comparable have at least three training and qualification in E. E. G.
Candidate must have at least two (2) years post-qualification cognate experience.
19.) Higher Radiographer (CONHESS 07)
Required Qualification
Candidate must possess a Diploma of the Society of Radiographers or any other equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
Candidate must possess current professional licence to practice as a Radiographer.
Candidate must have been registered with Radiographers Board of Nigeria (RBN).
In addition candidate must have at least three (3) years post qualification cognate experience.
Candidate must be familiar with the operation of C. T. Scan.
20.) Staff Nurses / Staff Midwife (CONHESS 06)
Required Qualification
Candidate must possess NRN and NRM and must be duly registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.
Candidate must possess current licence to practice.
Candidate must have at least two (2) years post qualification experience in midwifery.
Conditions of Service
These are similar to those obtainable in the Federal Public Service or Federal Specialist Health Institutions.
