Deli Foods Nigeria Limited was incorporated on 21st May 1998 and is a biscuit manufacturing company.

Deli Foods Nigeria Limited started in 1998 with one 40 Meters Oven Line, which was imported in from Italy. The factory started production in July 1999 after obtaining the NAFDAC approvals for its products.
In the year 2000, Deli Foods Nigeria Limited acquired another plant from Italy with 75meter oven capable of producing 36 metric tones in 24 hours. The installed capacity of the plant was fully utilized in 6 months which prompted the company to order 3 new plants from Italy in 2002/2003 for diversification of our products.

Nigeria has an entrenched market for biscuit which is a whole some food, ready to eat and available in various convenient packing, throughout the federation.

The main raw materials are wheat flour, sugar and vegetable fat, all of which are locally produced and available.

The chemical and other (referred to as minor ingredients) are available through importers. In other words, all materials can be sourced locally and are readily available.

Nigeria with its population of approx. 120 million and a high annual growth which has a growing requirements for biscuits.

Previously the biscuit market grew at an annual rate of approximately 1.3%-2% per annum. However, since 2003 when the Federal Government of Nigeria introduced the ban on Importation of biscuits � the Industry has grown dramatic at rates of between 10 - 20% p.a.

Deli Foods has obtained the export license from the Nigeria Export Promotion Council and also admitted to Ecowas Trade Liberalization Scheme, which enables Deli Foods to export its productions to all Ecowas countries free of duties.

Deli Foods Nigeria Limited Current Job Vacancies

We are one of the largest biscuit manufacturing company located in Nigeria and due to expansion urgently require the services of Dynamic, Proactive and experienced personnel to fill the following vacancies:

1. Electrical Technicians (Ee 01)
Qualification: BSC, HND/ Trade Certificate in Electrical/Electronic engineering with specialization in high and low voltage installations, weigh scales, gas/diesel Generators

Experience: The ideal candidate must possess a minimum of 4 years relevant work experience in a well structured or medium scale establishment preferably in a biscuit factory and must not be more than 40 years old.

2. Mechanic Technician: (Me 02)
Qualification: OND/ Trade Test Certificate in mechanical engineering with hands on experience in weigh bridge maintenance, packing and plant maintenance, silos and aire\ compressors.

Experience: Same as in (1) above

3. Automation Engineer – (Ae 01)
Qualification: BSC/HND in Electronics engineering

Experience: Same as in (1) above

4. Storekeeper – (Sk 01)
Qualification: BSC/HND in mechanical or electrical engineering with minimum of 5 years experience in spare parts store and knowledge in ERP is an added advantage.

5. Quality Control Officers (Qco 01)
Qualification: BSC/HND in food science, microbiology/ industrial chemistry or any related field.
Experience: Candidates must have minimum of 2 years relevant work experience in a food industry preferably in a biscuit factory or any manufacturing company.

6. Production Line Controllers (Plc 01)
Qualification: BSC/HND in food science, microbiology/ industrial chemistry or any related field.

Experience: Candidates must have minimum of 2 years relevant work experience in a food industry preferably in a biscuit factory or any manufacturing company.

7. Machine Operators (Mo 01)
Qualification: OND in Mechanical or Electrical engineering with a minimum of 2 years working experience with a biscuit factory or any manufacturing company.

8. Sales Executive
Location: Lagos
Qualification/Requirement: BSC/HND in Marketing, Business Administration or other related fields with a minimum of 5 years working experience in a FMCG and not more than 40 years.
Must be computer literate, have good communication and inter personal relationship and above all must be conversant with Lagos markets
Remuneration very competitive and comparable to industry standard.
