Job description
The Geologist will be responsible for the supervising geotechnical and geo-environmental analysis, design, and construction engineering services
Responsibilities
- Observation and investigation of the geology in engineering projects
- Engineering geological model development
- Establishing standards and scope for the engineering geological activities
- Engineering geological information management
- Communicating the geology to engineers
- Provide project management for geotechnical and geo-environmental projects including the preparation of scope, schedules and budgets.
- Contribute to business development and proposal efforts and prepare technical reports.
Qualifications et experience
- A B.Sc degree or (HND compulsorily with a Masters degree) in Geology.
- Minimum of 5 years work experience in Geological Engineering.
- Good Knowledge on the use of GIS (Geographic Information Systems).
- Ability to work without supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
- Must possess demonstrable and measurable success in a similar role
- Must possess all other skills required in this profession
