Job Title: System and Network Engineer

Academic Qualifications

• Degree/HND/Diploma/Certificate of Proficiency in any of Computer Science, Computer, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering OR any other relevant field with real time practical experience in networking deployment and administration.
• A Master Degree and Membership of relevant professional bodies will be an added advantage.

Working Experience

• A good Working Experience in an IT firm or any other organizations with basic Reponsibilities of planning, developing, deploying and managing of computer network, enterprise server, database and solution development.

Skills

The applicant is expected to possess the following practical skills:

• Networking Deployment
• Network Administration
• Server Administration
• Advanced Structure Cabling
• Open Source Technology,
• Cisco Networking Equipment

Certifications and Membership of Professional Organization

Although, a special consideration will be paid to real time practical skills and knowledge, but, membership of any relevant professional organizations and possession of any the following certifications will be an added advantage:

• Microsoft Certified System Engineer/IT Professional (MCSE/MCITP)
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA),
• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP )
• Cisco Certified Network Internetwork Expert (CCIE)
• Redhat Certified Network Engineer(RCNE)
• Redhat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA)
• A+,N+, Security +, and other relevant certification

Reponsibilities

• You are expected to plan and deploy network.
• You are expected to administer Network with various operating systems
• You are expected to deploy and administer of various vendor based and vendor neutral network products.
• You are expected to administer your unit
• You are expected to be responsible developing security solution for various network
• You are also expect to train others and other network related tasks
