Position Description
PURPOSE OF JOB:
To ensure accurate and timely booking and disbursement of loans.
Ensure compliance with all conditions as stipulated in the drawdown ticket.
To further ensure that customer service expectations are exceeded.
Ensure service delivery, meeting the needs of both existing and new business clients.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/KRA:
Prompt Loading of only approved limits as per payaway/loading limit are marked on Equinox.
Prompt booking of loans while ensuring compliance with approved drawdown ticket stipulations
Ensure that daily/monthly loan reports are received from ITD and forwarded to the unit head for further review and actioning.
Prompt posting of provisions and write off entries/update of customers’ credit information on the system when required (risk grades, class code, segmentation etc).
Ensure correct rates setting, modification, limits loaded to avoid irregularities.
Proper limitization of all overdrawn accounts as advised by Unit head.
Ensure that adequate records of source documents and daily call over are properly housed and easy to retrieve.
Monitoring of accounts to ensure that no loan account runs at zero rate after maturity as well as ensuring that accounts set at level payment satisfy all the

Attend to loan related issues/queries in a timely manner and proffer solution(s) in need or escalate to the unit head.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:
A minimum of First Degree in any related course
WORK EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 2 years banking experience with relevant experience in Baking Operations.Required Competencies
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:
A good understanding of the Bank’s Risk Assets.
Proficiency in Equinox and other related computer programs.
A general knowledge of the bank’s accounting practices.
Computer literate in Excel.
High degree of intelligence and analytical skills
PERSONAL SKILLS:
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Knowledge & Experience in Effective Service Delivery; passionate about service.
