Job Title: Head, Customer Service

Job Description:
• Developing and achieving performance goals (long/short term) and objectives in order to achieve customer promise expectations.
• Manage and ensure resolution of customer complaint, and work towards non-repetition of the same issues based on quality of service and expected level of service.
• Measure the performance and acceptance of customer service delivery and implement change; to advance customer understanding and use of service and product.
• Follow up on every client that called in for support, re-opening unsatisfactorily resolved issues and monitor progress to a complete and satisfactory resolution.
• Present to management periodic statistics and report on total number of renewals, total number of reported problems, and total number of closed and pending issues.
Requirements:
• A relevant degree in public or business administration or in human resources management.
• Minimum of 8yrs: (6) years working experience in customer service management or related activities.
• Outstanding diplomacy that will consistently produce win-win result for the customer and the company.
• Good knowledge of computer use as well as good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to deal patiently with complaints and to remain courteous when faced with difficult people.
• Absolute passion for ensuring great customer service experience with every customer.
• Good leadership skills and ability to create ideas to ameliorate customer service standards.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership in Accounts Receivables.

Prepare schedule of VAT, WHT and PAYE

Prepare/Update monthly Accruals and Prepayments.

Maintain adequate records of rents (receivable and payable.)

Reconciliation of general ledger account and staff accounts.

Checking of branch expenses returns and processing of reimbursements.

Maintain adequate record of fixed assets, additions, disposals and depreciation.

Periodic physical inventory counts and checks and comparison against records.

Preparation of monthly management accounts.

Prepare/Update receipt schedule and calculate monthly revenue amortization.

Costing of imported products.

Responsibilities

· Drive a team of Technical Service personnel through coaching, career planning and setting

learning examples.

· Improve productivity by highlighting deficiencies and recommending change in tools, training,

processes, reporting and employee engagement.

· Facilitate customer issue resolution for escalated calls and engage the necessary technical

support.

· Follow up with unsatisfied customers to ensure issues are resolved and the customers are

satisfied.

· Report operational achievements and progress to the Chief Technology Officer on a regular

basis, including statistical analysis and improvement of action plans.

· Work with other managers to ensure operational consistency.

· Maintain a mindset of continuous improvement, in terms of efficiency of support processes,

customer satisfaction and the application of tools for monitoring, management and

optimization.

· Build relationship with the operational and technical departments of our key customers.

· Develop a strong relationship with the sales team to increase sale of SLA based support

services.

· Deliver and exceed on all team performance goals.

Job Requirements

· B.Sc, BA or equivalent.

· Must have a good understanding of customer services in a high tech environment from an ISP,

Vendor, Integrator or Operator's point of view.

· Minimum 5 years experience in a related function. Technical Call centre or NOC experience is

an advantage.

· Excellent analytical and problems solving skills with the ability to provide quick resolution to

problems.

· Demonstrated leadership abilities and be achievement oriented.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills.

· Must be customer service orientated and believe in teamwork, collaboration, adaptability,

innovation and initiative.

· Experience in coaching and staff development is compulsory.

· Strong technical background in ICT is desirable.
