PharmAccess is a young, fast-growing, international, not-for-profit organization of Dutch origin, which aims to improve access to affordable quality basic health care in Africa. PharmAccess is currently recruiting for the position(s) below:
Job Title: Info Graphics Editor
An Info graphics Editor will analyze and visualize data, news, results and cases of PharmAccess programs in innovative info graphics, design-centered dashboards, interactive internet applications, reports and brochures.
Key tasks and responsibilities:
• Translate and visualize information in reports, case studies, publications, etc., etc., into clear and understandable info-graphics in brochures, interactive internet applications, etc., etc.;
• Identify relevant information and the best way of publication/ visualization;
• Communicate with all key business lines within PharmAccess and visualize their results at a combined level;
• Provide a prominent role to geographic information (GIS), in order to allow for “Google-Health-Africa” types of visualizations.
Skills & Qualifications
• Suitable candidates will ideally have a relevant Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree, experience in design and demonstrate a mastery of the art of expressing complex concepts with clear and compelling visualizations.
• Candidates should bring a curiosity about and an understanding of public opinion/ development questions and have the ability to think creatively. This is your second or third career step.
• Your understanding of written and spoken English is excellent.
• Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite as well as Microsoft Office, basic data analysis software (e.g. SPSS) and GIS-types of software is required.
• You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and are able to effectively interact within an environment with multiple stakeholders and people originating from different cultures.
• You are flexible, can think out of the box and know how to adapt in a growing and developing organization.
