The New Nigerian Development Corporation is a state finance and development enterprise that supplanted the Northern Nigeria Development Corporation. 

It is jointly owned by the 19 Northern States of Nigeria.

In the 1970s, NNDC expanded its activities establishing four holding companies.

NNDC currently seek to recruit young dynamic and talented graduates of Northern origin with great energy and drive, who are ambitious, enthusiastic, passionate, team players and exhibit a high level of respect and integrity to its Graduate Trainee Programme.

NNDC Services

SOLID MINERALS

The Federal Government of Nigeria in efforts to repositioning the Solid Minerals sector as one of the key drivers of the economy, had embarked on a far reaching reform that will enable the private sector play a pivotal role in the growth and development of the sector. In recognition of NNDC’s role in the Mining Sector, the Mining Cadastre Office of the Federal Ministry of Mines and Steel Development invited NNDC to express interest in the acquisition of mineral titles through a competitive bidding process. NNDC bidded for 19 mineral titles in 11 Northern States and won all.

CONSULTING

NNDC provides consultancy services in financial investments, management information systems and general management. We assist in preparing feasibility reports; identify, appraise and promote new projects with other investors, and provide legal and secretarial services.

HOTEL MANAGEMENT:

NNDC develops and participates in the management of hotels. At present this is achieved though our company Arewa Hotels Development Company

HOTELIERS

NNDC owns and acquires hotels. Kaduna Hotels Limited is our arm for the Hotelier business.

REAL ESTATE

NNDC develops and manages real estate. It also engages in the construction of buildings and acts as a mortgage institution and building society. It achieves this through its subsidiary. New Capital Properties Limited.

CONSTRUCTION

NNDC is well into construction from basics to professional finish. Planning, architectural designs and engineering, quantity surveying and project management. This is achieved through the Integrated Development Consultants Ltd.

MANPOWER DEVELOPMENT

NNDC undertakes Human resources development and provides training services in feasibility writing, project planning, promotions and appraisals.

AGRICULTURE

NNDC is engaged in commercial activities such as importation and sale of industrial and agricultural chemicals. It also participates in the promotion of agricultural and agro-allied projects. This is accomplished through its subsidiary NNIL Commercial Company Ltd.

OIL AND GAS

NNDC is venturing into Oil and Gas exploration in the Northern parts of Nigeria. We have secured two oil blocks in the North of Nigeria, Chad and Benue Troup. Exploration will commence in the near future. NNDC would be doing this through one of its subsidiaries.

I.T AND TELECOMMUNICATIONS

NNDC is launching into the IT and Telecommunications arena. We expect investments in this area soon.

INVESTMENTS

NNDC is involved in several investment activities. These include equity participation, Loans, Loans Syndication, Underwriting of Shares and Debentures and provision of bank guarantees.

Job Title: Graduate Trainee.

Job Requirements:
-B.Sc./HND/OND in any discipline
-Not more than 1 year post NYSC experience (Where applicable)
-Minimum of 5 Credits in WASC, SSCE or GCE ’0′ which must include Mathematics and English
-Not more than 45 years as of 30th April, 2012
