Department of Police Recruitment
This Department is responsible for appointment of persons
into the Nigeria Police with the exception of the
Inspector - General of Police. Other appointemnts include
appointment of commissioners of police to state commands, appointment
and gazetting of retirement from the Nigeria Police Force as well as such other
functions as may be assigned by the Commission in accordance with the laws. The
Department is headed by Mrs. Garos Logams, a Deputy Director.
