Role Summary/Purpose:
• The Lead Customer Service Engineer demonstrates leadership in communicating business goals, programs, and processes for an area or business segment.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Provide local business ownership in assigned areas
• Provide and direct the performance of quality field engineering services to all (internal and external) employees in assigned areas
• Aggressively promote services sales to grow business in the area
• Assist with proposals, including market intelligence on pricing, work-scope, terms and conditions
• Participate in business planning including budgeting / staffing / forecasting / cost control
• Establish and maintain business relationships with area customers, pole sales resources, and other GE businesses to enhance position in marketplace
• Assist in individual development of assigned personnel through coaching, counseling, training assignments and business exposure

Qualifications/Requirements:
• Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of experience in a support or field engineering position)
• At least 3 additional years of experience in a field engineering role
• At least 1 year of experience in customer support and the development of successful customer relationships

Desired Characteristics:
• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is preferred
• Strong oral and written communication skills

Role Summary/Purpose
Responsible for the execution of the Contract in terms of the main contractual obligations – i.e. full compliance with Contract scope of supply and agreed Technical Requirements, timely delivery and quality as well as achievement of the expected profitability of the Contract itself.

ROLE SUMMARY/PURPOSE

The Systems Engineer position is to perform installation,
commissioning & trouble shooting of Bently Nevada systems & software
at customer sites

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Install & configure Bently Nevada hardware & software required for
protecting and managing a wide variety of machine types encountered in
the Oil & Gas, Power Generation, Petrochemicals, Pulp & Paper, and
other process industries.
Assure jobs are executed in accordance with the cost allocations,
which are budgeted.
Assure the job is executed in a timely manner and in accordance with
the customer’s schedule.
Understand contractual commitments.
Identify problems and take the initiative to eliminate those problems
for project success

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

Minimum four-year Bachelor of Engineering degree from an accredited
college or university, Electronics or Instrumentation Engineering
background.
Must have at least 3+ years of post-qualification experience working
energy and/or oil & gas instrumentation.
Demonstrate assurance dealing with people.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Excellent written and oral communication skills to convey technical
concepts to business and technical personal.
Ability to work under stressful working conditions including.
Basic Knowledge of networking hardware and protocols.
Basic knowledge of Modbus, OPC, NetDDE and serial communications
(RS232, 422, 485).
Electronics and/or mechanical trouble shooting skills. “Hand-on approach”.

DESIRED CHARACTERISTICS

B.E. (Electronics or Instrumentation) with four years of relative
Industrial experiences.
3+ years Experience working on energy and/or oil & gas instrumentation.
Knowledge of Bently products and service machinery protection
management system is preferable.
