Job Description
To
assist Directors and Managing Directors in the origination and execution of
transactions
Key
Roles & Responsibilities
•Support
senior staff on CA transaction origination and execution
•Develop existing ideas and/or provide forward thinking
•Financial modeling, particularly for DCF and LBO
transactions
•Sector and client research, particularly in terms of market
and company comparable analysis
•Preparation and presentation of information memoranda,
pitch books, presentations, prospectuses, fairness opinions (including
valuation) and other forms of reports
•Assist Directors / Associate Directors in structuring
transactions
•Collect, review and analyse financial and other information
from multiple market data sources including Bloomberg, Factset and Thomson
Reuters
•Provide new and innovative of ideas
•Train and coach analysts vis-à-vis their deliverables
•Carry out due diligence
Qualifications
& Skills
•Highly
motivated individuals who are able to work independently with minimal
supervision from senior bankers. Demonstrate the initiative to use “down time”
to increase their knowledge of products or processes in the Bank
•Candidates should have a Bachelors / Masters / CPA / CFA
degree from a good university and grades placing him / her in the top 10
percentile. Plus a minimum of 3 years relevant experience in investment banking
/ appropriate industry sector
•A strong record of achievement in academics and possess
superior analytical aptitude, creative problem solving abilities and basic
accounting skills
•Key skills should include:
i.Strong ability with MS Office Suite, particularly Excel
Word and PowerPoint,
ii.Generate prospectuses/ information memoranda/ investment
teasers/ pitch books;
iii.General industry/ country/ company research;
iv.Ability to perform Discounted Cash Flow and other forms
of valuation
