Site Modification Request Engineer
Job Description

Within the Field Operations organization and in the Production Performanceunit the SMR Engineer shall:
• Coordinate the reviews of the SMR procedure until validation in order to optimize the SMR process according to Company CRs and GMs
• Liaise with the Engineers in charge of the Departments involved in the SMR procedure such as Maintenance, Production, ECP, HSE.
• Act as focal point for collecting the SMRs documents and updating the SMR register
• Upon collection of the SMR, perform a first screening and nominate modification leaders
• Compile synthesis on modifications for management reviews if so requested by Management
• With the input from the initiators prepare the pre-study dossier which shall include
• Simplified technical dossier
• Cost estimate
• Estimate planning
• Simplified execution plan
• Suggested contract strategy
• Obtain management approval for costs and execution plans prior to implementation
• Finalize the formal hand over to ECP for Class 1 modifications
• Manage SMR scope revisions and issue a revised scope where required
• Follow directly the execution of the intervention for Class 2 modification and fast track modification
• Liaise with ECP Department on the implementation of the Class 1 modifications
• Initiate weekly meetings with FO, ECP and FPSO engineers. Weekly meeting will result in the update of the SMR Register
• Organise kick-off and ad-hoc meetings for specific SMRs in liaison with ECP Project Engineer and nominated FO Modification Leader
• Follow up the execution of the final tests.
• Receive the formal hand-over from ECP at the end of the execution phase up to the Hand Over Certificate (HOC)
• Monitor the preparation of documents and plan modification and ensure update of technical documentation after modification completion
• Ensure that documents are captured in PDMS.
• Travel to the FPSO (and to Onne base if necessary) on regular basis to follow up the SMR process and to strengthen the cooperation between onshore and offshore technical teams

Job Requirements
Education: Mechanical Engineer specialized in Petroleum Engineering, with knowledge in process, chemistry, materials, rotating and static equipment.
Experience of 5/10 years in engineering activities related to the offshore installations both in shallow water and in FPSO deep water technology
FOREIGN LANGUAGE: English – fluent level

Job Description

1. Development of the Project Summary schedule
2. Development of the Project Master Schedule.
3. Manage / coordinate the Level 2 integrated schedule
4. Coordinate with the Package Planning engineers the development and integration of the onshore commissioning schedule as well as the offshore hook up and commissioning schedules.
5. Assist in the review and analysis of CONTRACTORS Scheduling and planning documents (procedures,…)
6. Provide assistance in progress monitoring and control Project activities
7. Identify potential delays, analyse and issue proposed corrective actions as required
8. Prepare the Project Planning documents.
9. Prepare the weekly report
10. Elaborate monthly progress report

Job Requirements
Qualification:
BSc. Degree or HND in Engineering, Construction Management, or Quantity Surveying with experience in the oil & gas industry (Substantial experience in another industry will be considered on a case by case basis).

Professional Experience (number of years): 5-10 years experience Oil and Gas – Offshore / Onshore Industry or similar Engineering environment. This position requires a professional with good technical, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrable hands-on competency in using Primavera P3e or P3 Project Planner, as well as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Proven ability to interface with internal / external specialists, other disciplines, contractor personnel, Company personnel, other Company project teams, and Company operations personnel at the existing facilities.
Strong communication skills including ability to communicate effectively with contractors and management as necessary

Job description
1. Roles (Basic Function and Scope)

a) Assist project teams by developing and maintaining project monitoring and reporting systems aiding the effectiveness of the management of projects.

2. Responsibilities (Duties Performed)

a) During the initial definition phase/funding phase of the project, the engineer will:
? Document the project team’s/project engineer’s execution plans in the project schedule.
? Consolidate, and document the project estimate at each project gate.
? Assist in the development of the project funding plan and funding package.
? Develop the Estimate Confidence Package (Schedule)
? Document the control plans for the project
? Assist team in documenting the organization plan for the project
? Develop expenditure forecast consistent with project team plans.
? Assist team in appraising the overall performance of the project with respect to cost and schedule

b) During the execution phase of the project, the engineer will:
? Update status on the project schedule, and ensure the project team’s/ project engineer’s execution plans are reflected in the remaining activities of the project schedule. Assist team in identifying and implementing recovery plan actions.
? Ensure compliance with approved control plans for projects
? Assist team in documenting the project management organization for comparison against plan.
? Maintain forecast of expenditure forecasts consistent with project team plans and monitor against previous forecasts.
? Assist team in appraising the overall performance of the project with respect to cost and schedule
? Assist team in monitoring AFE status and preparing supplements as required.

c) Assist team in developing project closeout documentation.

Job requirements
a. B.Sc. in Engineering with strengths in the areas of Project management, and production facilities.
b. 7 years varied engineering experience.
c. Fluency in English.
d. Familiar with the use of Microsoft Project and Primavera software

Roles (Basic Function and Scope)
• Mentors and guides C&S engineers to provide support to all project management teams. Assists C&S engineers in their planning and performance of discipline-associated tasks to enable projects to be executed aligned with Projects group priorities and consistent with the EMCAPS framework.
• Reviews, endorses, and provides input into proposed refinements / changes and updates to cost and schedule, contracting and reporting tools used in the Projects Department. In some cases, will lead the updates. Ensures continuous improvements in project control procedures.
• Encourages C&S Engineers to maintain continual interface with external departments, especially Development Planning, Facilities Engineering, and Procurement.
• Mentors and Assist project teams by developing and maintaining project monitoring and reporting systems aiding the effectiveness of the management of projects.
• Provides assistance/training to Project Engineers in utilization of project controls tools in executing smaller projects and assists in the development and maintenance Project Control tools, procedures and historical data.
• Assist in the development of Projects Department Plans and Budgets ( P&B), and JV Capital Budgets.

Responsibilities (Duties Performed)

• During the execution phase of the project, the advisor will support Cost and Schedule engineers.
• Assist team in developing project closeout documentation.
• Compiles historical cost and schedule data for potential updates to estimating, cost monitoring and forecasting, and planning tools.
• Assists with developing Projects Groups Plans & Budget (P&B) and JV Budget Submissions..
• Develops/updates Technical Committee (TECOM) project expenditure and budget data for reviews with NAPIMS for Projects Department
• Reviews project deliverables for consistency with EMCAPS Guidelines and advises project teams /project engineers on potential upgrades.
Job requirements
Minimum Requirements/Education
• B.Sc. in any Engineering Discipline or Accounting
• 10 years varied experience.
• Fluency in English.

• Must participate in drug and alcohol testing and background check as required
• Comply with Malaria prophylaxis requirements
• Fluency in written and spoken English.

Job Requirements

Technical Skill:
Ability to prepare weekly and monthly progress reports
Ability to prepare presentation material
Ability to prepare project planning & control procedure

Education And Experience :
S1 in engineering (Mechanical, civil, marine offshore, ship building) from reputable universities.
Minimum of 10 years experience in onshore- site EPCI project both in
EPC contractors or oil & gas company.
Minimum of 3 onshore EPCI project involvement

Basic Skill:
COMPUTER: Ms. Office (word, excel, power point& outlook).
PARTICULAR SOFTWARE: Primavera. Ms Project & other project management software.

1. Prepare, format and revise of technical reports, professional presentations, and meeting notes. Work to be accurate and required under occasionally tight deadlines. 2. Prepare documents, folders, copies and send them as required. File documents as required and as per established system for record keeping and easy retrieval.
3. Correct and update the Documented Safety and Quality management System.
4. Maintain/update files with all incoming as well as outgoing correspondence (fax and email) with the FPSO, as per direction of the manager.
5. Liaise with and convey information to teams located on board FPSO
6. Schedule & organise logistics for Meetings, workshops, other.
7. Coordinate Admin support requirements. Ensure the efficient running of administration and office procedures.
8. Liaise with Logistics to ensure all daily mobilisations / demobilisations are recorded
9. Co-ordinate any crew queries in a timely fashion
10. Deal with people, external and internal through correspondence as well as face-to-face and hence requires discretion in communication.
11. Work in close coordination with the onshore support team and is required.
12. PERFORM ANY OTHER ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT TASKS AS DIRECTED BY HIERARCHY.

Job Requirements
HNC / HND in Business Administration or other relevant discipline
Professional Experience: 3-5 years experienced Administrator with experience in the Oil and Gas Industry.
Competent use of the MS Office suite of programs. Computer literacy, word processing skills are essential.
Very good communication skills (verbal and written) in English and planning and scheduling ability are essential. ‘Can do, will do’ attitude to work
