Requirements
The ideal candidates will not be more than 28 years of age and will possess a Bachelors degree, at least Second Class upper Division, or its equivalent in Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Food Science and Technology, Mechanical Engineering or Agricultural Engineering. Ideally, candidates should have a minimum of 1-2 years working experience in a manufacturing organization.

Responsibilities
Successful candidates will undergo intensive local and oversea training in milling operations and qualify as professional millers at the end of their training. During the training period of about 3 years, they should be able to progressively take responsibility for various sections of the milling operations, from screen room to product bins and packaging, including heading a shift in the absence of the Shift Miller.

The successful candidates will have a minimum of 6 years milling experience and should, ideally, not be more than 38 years old. Full membership of the City & Guilds in Milling Technology, or a Milling Diploma of the Swiss Milling School will be added advantage.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities of this position include managing a production shift, ensuring low down-time in milling operations, consistent production of good quality products, supervision of mill maintenance and ensuring that a clean work environment is maintained at all times.

THE JOB:
Assists the Purchasing Manager to process
purchase requisitions and purchase orders for goods and services
in a timely manner as required by the business units.
Secures additional information on departmental needs and may
prepare recommendations on vending sources.

QUALIFICATION:
B.Sc. Mechanical Engineering.
5 0’ level credits inclusive of English Language and Mathematics.
Membership of Chartered Institute of Purchasing and
Supply Management is an added advantage.

THE PERSON:
A proactive, resourceful, self motivated,
target driven, stable character with proven integrity and must
be a good team player with good coordination skills.
Successful candidate must possess excellent interpersonal skills and must be willing to work long hours.

EXPERIENCE:
