Job Vacancies In Pro-Health International

Pro-Health International (PHI) is an indigenous, faith-based, non-profit, non-governmental and community-focused organization that focuses on providing health care and HIV/AIDS prevention programs to the African populace, especially Nigerian. PHI is currently implementing a USAID funded HIV/AIDS Reduction Program in Niger Delta (HARPIN) with project sites in Cross-River and River States and is recurring qualified professional staff to fill positions based in Calabar and Port Harcourt .

Current Vacant Positions:

Hiv/Aids Prevention Manager (Port Harcourt):
The Prevention Manager will work with PHI Project Management Team (PMT) to provide mentorship, technical assistance and supportive supervision to CBO’s, partners and health facilities to ensure than activities are appropriately planned, implement, monitors and evaluate in Rivers and Cross-Rivers State.

Qualification & Requirements: A Masters degree in Social Sciences, Public Health, Social Work or other relevant degree with a minimum of5 years of relevant field experience, preferably in Nigeria. He/she must have demonstrated expertise in HIV/AIDS prevention program design, implementation and management with a minimum of four years experience in a senior position providing technical assistance to NGOs, CBOs and FBOs in HIV/AIDS prevention

Pmtct Advisor (2) (Port Harcourt and Calabar):
The Program Advisor will provide direct supervision and oversight for the HARPIN PMTCT program and also serve as the primary contact to donor for all issues related, to USAID supported PMTCT and pediatric care program activities. He/she will work with PHI PMT to provide mentorship, technical assistance and supportive supervision to PMTCT sites and ensure that activities are appropriately planned, implemented, monitored and evaluated

Qualification & Requirements:
Medical degree and a Masters degree in Public Health(desirable) with a minimum of 3 years of progressive responsible experience providing support/guideline to regional and/or national level PMTCT services, including experience in designing and managing public sector programs required

Sexual Transmission Prevention Adivsor (Calabar):
The Advusor will lead a team of program staff to manage community based organizations to achieve set objectives. He/she will plan, design and implement sexual transmission prevention of HIV/AAIDS programs under the PEPFAR program according to the national guidelines and will lead several advocacy visits to key policy makers in Rivers and Cross Rivers state

Qualification Requirements:
A Masters degree in social sciences, public health promotion sciences or a related fuel with a minimum of 3 years experience. Experience in implementation of behavior change communication and community mobilization programs in the areas of RH and working with USAID supported behavior change and community mobilization programs will be an advantage

Monitoring And Evaluation Manager (Port Harcourt):
The M&E Manager will provide leadership in managing all aspect of the program’s monitoring and evaluation component and other project related research and management information systems. He/she will train and supervise partner organizations and sub-awardees on management information system (MIS) and record keeping, as well as ensure quality of data that are collected

Qualification: requirements:
A Masters in public health, Epidemiology, demography, statistic or other relevant social science or research field and at least 5 years of professional experience in monitoring and evaluation or other relevant health related analytical experience.

Dimensions Of The Job

EGINA is a deep offshore development on the block OML 130 in Nigeria operated by TOTAL Upstream Nigeria Limited located 150 km from the coast.

Development in 1550 m water depth include the spread moored large size FPSO of 240 POB associated to an offloading calm buoy, 2 production loops connecting subsea manifold with 20 production wells and 3 injection lines connecting 20 water injection wells. A 20km gas export line ties into AKPO export pipeline to Amenam.

Activities

During CFT and basic design period up to Contract Award:-

Ensure implementation in his/her own discipline of all HSE and QC requirements and report to SPS Engineering Manager on any deviation

Mastering the content of the BE Design Dossier for the Xmas Tree / Wellheads / IWOCS and ensuring that design definition is consistent with the objectives of the Call for Tender (CFT).

Liaison with Company Drilling team and Corporate specialists to ensure coherency of Xmas Tree / Wellheads / IWOCS design with Drilling / Completion requirements and Company specifications.

Evaluation of the commercial aspects of the CFT Exhibits as they affect the Xmas Tree / Wellheads / IWOCS with particular emphasis on Contract Execution strategy including schedule, testing programmes, QA / QC requirements and interface management.

Liaison with Company Xmas Tree / Wellheads / IWOCS specialists within technical department to ensure conformance of design to, or for approval to derogate from, Company specifications.

Inter-package coordination within Company Project teams to ensure coherency of cross package design and project execution interfaces.

Report to the SPS Engineering Manager formally, on a weekly and monthly basis, and on an ad-hoc basis with respect to Xmas Tree / Wellheads / IWOCS related activities.

Participates in preparation of the CFT Appraisal Procedures and Documentation

Assist in evaluation of the responses to the CFT and in preparation of the Recommendation to Award (RTA) for the SPS Contract

Assist in the resolution of the technical and execution related queries from both the Tenderers and Company teams. Review proposed deviations and give recommendation for project management approval.

Post Contract Award,

Monitor Contractor performance to ensure conformance with the engineering specifications.

· Review the definition of the proposed SPS Qualification and Systems Testing programmes, ensuring that UFR concerns are adequately addressed.

· Review the development of SPS scope of supply document for Connection /Tie-in Systems, IMR tooling and equipment supply to the UFR Contract production equipment, test equipment, installation aids and spares to ensure it is complete and in accordance with both SPS and UFR Contract needs.

· Manage the production of the BE design Dossier for Tie-in / Connection systems and inspection maintenance and Repair (IMR) to be in line with the schedule for issue of the SPS Call For Tender.

Responsibilities: (the principal results expected from the job)
- Supervise vessel discharge or loading activities to or from the depot to ensure that the correct volume is discharged or loaded ensuring the quality of product is according to Nigerian standard.
- Supervise trucks loading activities, ensuring that the right amount is loaded unto the trucks accordingly.
- Ensure that trucks loading operations conducted with adherence to safety and other applicable regulations.
- Ensure that shortage issues are solved following policies.
- Calculates volume of stock in the storage tanks, document, and circulate reports following approved policies.

TASKS

-Through geological data interpretations, contribute to the appraisal of risks and technical issues related to the evaluation of new projects and the location of exploration wells.

-Coordinates and if necessary initiates the geological post well studies (post-mortem analysis)

-Guarantee the integration of information deduced from geological data in geosciences studies, in the compliance with codes of practice.
